Our Practice Group
We warmly welcome you to the website for the Zazen Sangha of Westport, a Unitarian Universalist Buddhist Fellowship (UUBF) practice group and an affiliate of Boundless Way Zen. Here you will find information about our weekly meditation practice meetings, practice traditions and forms.
The Zazen Sangha of Westport meets most Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM for Zen meditation practice in the Meetinghouse building of the Unitarian Church at Westport, 10 Lyons Plains Road, Westport, Connecticut. The Meetinghouse is in the Southeast corner of the parking lot, diagonally across from the church.
Anyone is welcome to attend our Wednesday evening Zen practice periods. There are no special requirements and no cost, although donations are gratefully accepted. We sit meditation (zazen) for 25 and 20-minute periods, with a few minutes of walking meditation (kinhin) in between. More detailed information about our practice can be found on the First Visit page.
